Aims
This module aims to give students an introduction to techniques of artefact production and methods of analysis used in the study of Palaeolithic assemblages. To provide a theoretical and practical foundation for undertaking artefact based analyses at level 7.
Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate a critical awareness of changing research paradigms in the study of early technologies

Demonstrate a practical understanding of the mechanics of stone tool making
