Aims
To enable students to make a professional contribution to management and leadership within a fast moving environment, in a range of functional areas by evaluating and applying management and leadership skills, knowledge and theory to inform this contribution.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Ability to generate balance sheets information including income and cash flow statements and judge investment profitability
2.
Understand key tasks of business and corporate planning and accountancy along with cost and planning strategies.
3.
Demonstrate a critical understanding of the information and knowledge required to run an organisation or project and within the context of the construction and real-estate (including IT in Infrastructure Project life cycle)
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:Finance, accounting and investment appraisal within a context of leading and managing projects in the related fields to the constructions industry.
Additional Information:This module provide the financial and accounting contribution to the leadership and management practice element of this programme.
