Aims
To enable students to make a professional contribution to management and leadership within a fast moving environment, in a range of functional and business areas by evaluating and applying management and leadership skills and theory to inform this contribution.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Identify and critically consider success factors of management and demonstrate their application to practice.
2.
Critical understanding of projects in relation to controlling critical factors of construction including design, cost and location.
3.
Demonstrate critical understanding of legal approaches within the industry filed and the scope of parties involved.
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:Identifying success factors of leadership and management in organisational and business practice. Explore leadership and management theory and apply these to practice. Consider these within a business context relating to leadership, management and Project management within a construction related field.
