Aims
This module aims to help learners to develop business acumen which is needed to understand the finances of the business and how to inform and shape decision making. With scale-up business there is also a need to be able to position the business with potential funding and investment sources and understand the implications of different sources of funding.

This module aims to provide knowledge and understanding of the financial aspects of scaling up a business. Helping learners to develop business acumen, which is needed to understand the finances of the business and how to inform and shape decision-making. It also explores the implications of different sources of funding and investment for sustainable business.

Helping learners to develop business acumen, which is needed to understand the finances of the business and how to inform and shape decision-making. It also explores the implications of different sources of funding and investment for sustainable business.

This module covers the following KSBs:
K8 Financial strategies, for example scenarios, modelling and identifying trends, application of economic theory to decision-making, and how to evaluate financial and non- financial information such as the implications of sustainable approaches.
K9 Financial governance and legal requirements, and procurement strategies.
S10 Oversee development and monitoring of financial strategies and setting of organisational budgets based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and challenge financial assumptions underpinning strategies.
S11 Uses financial data to allocate resources.
