Aims
To develop and extend student's knowledge and practical experience of the research process and the use of advanced research skills within sport coaching.
Learning Outcomes

Critically evaluate the concepts, methodologies and associated literature
underpinning the research.

Justify and critically discuss the research and research process.
3.
Produce a piece of empirical research in journal article format.
4.
Assimilate, integrate and critically discuss the research findings.

Outline Syllabus:Research philosophy including epistemologies
Research design and ethical approval.
Research methodologies and methods
Conduct independent empirical research project.
Supervision / mentor tutorials.

This transdisciplinary module examines talent development systems, processes and models. You will use contemporary research to critically consider how talent and performance can be developed across the participant lifespan.
