Module Overview:
This module is solely for assessment and this assessment focuses on student practice-based skills.
This module is solely for assessment and this assessment focuses on student practice-based skills.
Additional Information:
This module is for summative assessment only. All learning, formative assessment and feedback for this assessment are included in the content module 7000MPHARM, underpinned by 6000MPHARM, 5000MPHARM and 4000MPHARM.
Students will work through a series of stations/areas based on relevant pharmacy skills at a level appropriate to their year of study. Each station/area will be marked using an appropriate methodology. A student will be deemed to have passed the assessment overall if they are deemed to have shown suitable minimal competence overall. Students will only be required to re-sit stations/areas failed at the previous attempt if they fail a sitting.
To ensure the programme aligns to the GPhC commitment to patient safety, any serious concerns that are identified within the assessment will be reviewed by a panel of pharmacists. If the concern raised is deemed to pose a risk to patient safety, the student will FAIL that station/area even if they pass via the appropriate marking scheme..
Students must be successful in the module to progress to the next level of study.
