Aims

This module aims to creatively provide learners with a detailed understanding of the principles and practices of marketing and communication strategies in educational contexts. Learners will critically analyse key marketing concepts and theories which contribute to educational marketing communications, managing the message, and sustaining responsible partnerships and stakeholder relationships.

Learning Outcomes

Identify and critically evaluate key issues, in designing marketing and communications strategy considering ethical, sustainable and responsible stakeholder management and practice.

Critically assess how changing stakeholder and partner demands and behaviours can shape the marketing communication strategies

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
Indicative content for the module will include;

Analysis of core strategic marketing communication concepts and principles;
Communication process theory and contextual practice;
Integrated marketing communications and the role of digitalisation;
Evaluating the changing stakeholder demands and trend analysis;
Ensuring ethical, sustainable and responsible communications practices;
Managing stakeholder relations responsibly
Module Overview:
Working with scholarly practitioners, this module will critically analyse and evaluate strategic marketing and communication approaches to develop practical skills. In addition, reviewing the nature of contemporary integrated marketing communications; understanding the settings partners and stakeholders; identifying strategies for managing image and reputation; considering ethical practice in sustaining responsible stakeholder relationships connects the learner to their own context.
