Aims

Support the development of self-directed and in-depth body of work appropriate to the student's concerns. Enable students to plan, organize and deliver a final published project or equivalent, through effective time and resource management, demonstrating a high level of critical engagement, creative achievement and appropriate technical ability. Develop the students' ability to present their work and enhance their capacity to engage in professional practice.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
This module reflects the summation of the Masters programme of study. Students will be required to materialise an initial proposal through a public-facing outcome or equivalent, developing a body of work and reflection along the way. Regular tutorials and group presentations will help them to articulate their practice.
Module Overview:
This module helps students develop a self-directed and comprehensive body of work, enhancing project planning and organization to deliver a final published project. It emphasizes critical engagement, creativity, technical skills, and presentation abilities, preparing students for professional practice.
Additional Information:
This is the module where students bring together all the skills they have acquired on the programme demonstrated by public outcome or equivalent. Students will be required to make a working proposal (including an abstract and details about how the project will be disseminated) about which they will receive feedback and support in its realisation from academic staff. Students will be assessed by a public-facing outcome from a significant body of work, including evidence of reflection and supporting work. Assessment will be supported by a formal presentation (viva). Students will be encouraged to participate in a Masters degree show. References : As defined by the student’s project proposal.
