Concept analysis Dimensions of globalization: political, economic, technological and cultural Sustainable Development Goals and Global Public Health: Leave no-one behind Global health governance The impact of globalization on health: Communicable and non-communicable disease Public health risk in the global world: Tobacco, Food & Nutrition, Alcohol, HIV/AIDs, Pandemics Global health surveillance & the burden of disease Health Transitions Global responses to public health risk through strategic actions

This module examines public health risk in the context of globalisation. It explores the key processes of globalisation and how they impact the health of populations and their environments. Public health risks are identified and their global level strategic responses are evaluated.
