Aims
To demonstrate how operations and supply chain management can influence and shape competitive strategy. To provide knowledge of concepts, techniques and models that are used for planning, managing and optimising operations within manufacturing and services.
Learning Outcomes

Critically appraise the strategic, operating issues and decisions involved in managing the business/operational processes within an organisation.

Assess resource allocation decisions using current management practices.

Critically design and develop the analytical tools available to managers to optimise an organisation’s operational capacity.
