Aims

This module will will equip the the student with the underpinning knowledge and skills required for their
role in assessing and initiating person-centred plans of care. In addition, the module equip students with an understanding of their role in leading and managing nursing care and working effectively apart of an interdisciplinary team.

Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the enablers and barriers to effective multidisciplinary and partnership working.
2.
Critically analyse determinants of health and factors influencing individual decision making.
3.
Demonstrate a critical awareness of the science underpinning nursing practice.
