Aims
Students will further develop their skills and abilities in working as a lead-creative in the production of film-based media. In particular, they will be able communicate effectively with, and instruct performers and practitioners alike in pursuit of delivering the artistic aims of a project.
Learning Outcomes

Design and develop scenes and sequences in collaboration with cast and crew.

Experiment with styles of performance and storytelling.

Synthesise a number of tools and technologies available for the production of contemporary work.

Critically analyse contemporary storytelling practices.
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:
Students will explore the application of acting and performance techniques, coupled with practical filmmaking processes, to produce a film (or films). They will undertake key creative development and will be responsible for decision-making that will steer, shape and influence the work

Module Overview:
Directors are the spine of creative projects, with responsibilities to all other crew and departments. Their influence impacts all aspects of creative projects until their vision is delivered on screen. Students will explore aspects of the development and delivery of creative work from the central role of a Director.
