Aims
The module aims to expand on post production skills developed in previous modules an provides a platform for post-production to be discussed as a substantive component in the process of filmmaking.
The module will subdivide ‘post production’ further by exploring visual practices such as colour correction, rotoscoping, compositing and tracking, as well as audio practices such as synching and mixing.
Learning Outcomes

Appraise the skillset required for the basic operation of desktop post production.
2.
Examine a number of the technical and scientific principles that contribute to refining and improving audio visual material.
3.
Undertake the operation of desktop audio and video post production software.
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:
Students will work on a range of post production exercise using pre-existing assets to explore applications and toolsets for the improvement of audio visual material before developing a portfolio to showcase their proficiencies and skills.

Module Overview:
Using prepared examples and media, students will correct and improve video and audio clips as an introduction to post production techniques and practices. They will then shoot their own series of shots to be developed in post to demonstrate their chosen post production skills
