Aims
This Module aims to equip students with the requisite skills, competencies, and knowledge to effectively design and deliver well planned and resourced legal and safe events and projects across the Creative Industries and Performing Arts.
Learning Outcomes

Identify the planning and logistical requirements related to the management and delivery of an event or project.

Explain the legal requirements related to the management and delivery of an event or project.

Analyse the financial requirements related to the management and delivery of an event or project.
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:
- Logistics – scheduling; locations; transport; accommodation.
- Resources – Equipment; location and premises, staffing
- Income and Expenditure.
- Legal – licensing; collection agencies, insurances.
- Legal – Health & Safety: legislation, risk assessments, capacity, evacuation, environmental considerations.

- Lectures to introduce key issues and concepts
- Workshops, and a range of innovative classroom and online methods, incorporating application of concepts to different situations, utilising group activities where appropriate
