Module Content

Outline Syllabus:The module is designed to consolidate and enhance skills learned at level 4 and to introduce more complex processes and approaches to song demo production. Lectures will introduce more advanced production concepts and focus on developing an increasingly critical and evaluative approach to employing production and arrangement techniques when producing song demos. The workshop seminars will refine and enhance skills and approaches learned at level 4, develop a deeper operational knowledge of DAW software, recording and mixing techniques, and equip learners with an operational understanding of the practical skills required to produce industry quality demo recordings. Seminars will provide opportunity for ongoing peer and tutor feedback on work prepared in private study time.
