Aims
This module will focus on the appropriate financial standards required to produce financial statements whilst considering relevant financial frameworks.
On successful completion of this module, students will be have the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare, analyse and audit organisational financial statements.

Outline Syllabus:Regulatory frameworks and governance of financial reporting
Purpose of financial reporting, including predicting cash flow
Communication financial positions to stakeholders
Interpretation of financial statements, including ratio analysis, cash flow, balance and profit and loss
Financial reporting standards, including the role of IAS and IFRS
Theories and models of reporting standards
International differences of financial reporting
