Develop knowledge and understanding of the theory, legislation, policy and practice relating to information and intelligence in policing.
Learning Outcomes

Critically explore the ways and procedures information and intelligence is collected and used in policing

Critically evaluate the National Intelligence Model (NIM), a business and decision-making process and its impact on shaping and achieving wider policing objectives
3.
Evaluate and reflect upon how information and intelligence are used to progress given policing operations and review implications for future practice
