Aims
The aim if this module is to develop an understanding of assessing, planning care and safe discharge in adult nursing.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Apply knowledge of commonly encountered conditions and routine investigations to assessing the needs of the individual.
2.
Analyse the importance of considering complexity and shared decision making in prioritizing and planning care in adult nursing.
3.
Consider the evidence base underpinning the planning and management of care delivery and quality of care in adult nursing.

Module Overview:
This module will develop your understanding of assessing, monitoring and planning care in adult nursing. You will also explore research methods and ethics and the application of an evidence-base to your practice. In this module the indicative content will specifically be applied within the context of Adult Nursing.
