Aims
The aim of this module is to explore the concept of risk, and the legal and ethical considerations and frameworks that underpin safe practice.

Apply knowledge to be able to effectively assess capacity in relation to consent.

Examine the frameworks that underpin the safe sharing of information

Explore the legislation and regulations relating to risk, escalating concerns, and its application to quality of care.

This module will develop explore the concept of risk, and the legal and ethical considerations and frameworks that underpin safe practice, including risk assessments, safe staffing, consent and information sharing.
