2. To develop technical skills associated with experimental filmmaking.
3. To provide an opportunity for students to develop appropriate working practices associated with small film production groups.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
Develop shooting scripts, storyboards and production schedules for experimental filmmaking. Be introduced to the basic principles of cinematography, sound and editing skills associated with experimental filmmaking. Understand how different production roles contribute to small film production units.
Module Overview:
In this module you will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience, planning and managing a short experimental film production. You will be able to develop specific skills in the areas of cinematography, lighting and sound design, as well as post production skills in editing and colour grading that are appropriate for experimental filmmaking.
