Aims
To develop an understanding of the principal valuation theory and methodology
used in professional practice.
To build competency in the practical application of valuation theory and techniques.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Understand valuation theory and principles and assess their relevance in
context of the commercial and residential property markets.
2.
Understand the different legal interests in real estate and how these influence, and are accounted for, within the valuation process.
3.
Effectively apply valuation concepts and methodologies to the valuation of
commercial and residential property.
4.
Display the ability to examine comparables, analyse data and effectively integrate findings and assumptions within the valuation of commercial and residential property interests.
