Aims

The aim of this module is to develop your understanding of the values and behaviours that are expected in nursing and to explore how the evidence-base is used to underpin nursing practice.  

Learning Outcomes

Reflect on the personal and professional responsibility within the nursing profession.

Display an ability to identify the evidence base underpinning practice.

Professional responsibility, health promotion and healthy lifestyle (NMC 1.6)

Demonstrating resilience and emotional intelligence (NMC 1.10)

Non-discriminatory, person-centred care (NMC 1.14)

Self-Reflection (NMC 1.17)

Module Overview:
This module will develop your understanding of the values and behaviours that are expected in nursing and to explore how the evidence base is used to underpin nursing practice, considering the provision of care in a non discriminatory manner.
