Aims
To deepen students' understanding of the core concepts of chemistry, including advanced topics in physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry, and to provide an overview of contemporary scientific approaches in these fields, with a focus on theoretical understanding and application.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Develop problem-solving skills in key chemistry areas including pH, isotopes, and stoichiometry
2.
Apply chemical knowledge to theoretical problems in thermodynamics and energy concepts.
3.
Analyse hypothetical experimental data, focusing on interpretation and application of chemical principles.
4.
Evaluate chemical data and methodologies, resolving theoretical discrepancies and drawing evidence-based conclusions
