Aims
This module aims to arm you with an insight into the particular sector of the industry you wish to work in when you graduate. You will be supplied with research strategies to identify this, and with SMART goals to assist your networking and correspondence with selected agents/employers. You will be required to generate self-promotional materials to demonstrate your skills and marketability, presenting works to an industry audience in live and digital showcases. You will be assessed on both your process and performance, providing useful feedback for future profiling, as well as the professional enterprise skills required to build and maintain industry relationships, contacts and networks.

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:
This module will prepare the students for stepping out into the industry as a professional actor. Students will exhibit their advanced acting and performance skills in a professional industry facing showcase. Additionally, they will synthesise their knowledge from previous modules to manifest their skills in the filming of a professional showreel. The module will ensure the student is able to present themselves professionally to the theatre and film industry.

The industry showcase provides an opportunity to present yourself to an invited audience of agents, casting directors and creative organisations, at leading performance venues in London and Manchester. You will create and generate digital and live material across a range of genres. Under the guidance of a professional director material will be selected to showcase your versatility, casting, and marketability and introduce you to members of the creative industries.
