Aims
1. To equip students with essential TV/radio sports production and presenting skills
2. To develop students' confidence in broadcasting in front of and behind the camera and/or microphone
3. To increase student employability in the sports broadcast industry
Learning Outcomes

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:In this module, students will learn more advanced technical and editorial techniques including camera set-ups for interviews and reporting from scene – using white balance, framing, sound, and backdrop, and learning to adapt to different interview
set-ups for TV/radio. They will learn to use tools for studio reporting via green screen as well as using graphics/stats. They will develop skills in "talking" to live pictures and live commentary as well as podcasting. They will engage in voice coaching
sessions and studio presenting for TV/radio, as well as producing/directing their own sports bulletins
Additional Information:This is an option for MA Sports Journalism students who wish to develop and strengthen their broadcasting confidence and skills with a route into the sports broadcasting industry
