To develop an understanding of the project environment and how it impacts on all phases of a project.

Outline Syllabus:The module will look to discuss the following aspects within the strategic consideration of both projects and organisations and the context of working in both home and international markets. Theory and practice will be used with case studies to expand and contextualise the following: Introduction to the Project Environment Internal factors that influence the projects – their links with the emerging forces in the market External factors that influence the projects - their links with the emerging forces in the market Ethics and corporate social responsibilities, individuals and organisational considerations

Additional Information:The module develops students' understanding of projects and the effect internal and external environment factors has on their performance by providing a thorough investigation of the environment within which the projects operate.
