Aims
1. To introduce students to postgraduate level methodological and theoretical approaches to researching international relations.
2. To provide students with the opportunity to critically appraise methodological and theoretical approaches to researching international relations.
3. To provide students with the skills required to undertake a research project at postgraduate level.

Outline Syllabus:
Subjects covered may include but are not limited to: advanced oral and written presentation skills; archival research; online research, including historical and legal databases; oral history / interview techniques; research ethics; developing a research question; structuring a research project.
