Aims

This module aims to help learners to identify and establish business models for a responsible growth. They will identify company mission, vision and values and assess strategy approaches to sustainable growth in the context of a variety of ecosystems and business environments. Value creation and capital strategies will be explored to develop an awareness of the implications and purpose of both economic and social value for their organisations.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
  • Organisation and company structures, business models for value creation.
  • Purpose, mission, vision and values development and impact.
  • Strategic concepts for business growth, external and inward investment strategies, external environment and ecosystems, PESTEL, VUCA and policy implications.
  • The role SMEs play in place leadership and collaboration, leading sustainable business growth, local, regional, nation and global implications.
  • UNSDGs and social responsibility. (UNSDGs three dimensions of sustainable development: economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection)
  • Business models to create financial and social value

This module aims to help you assess strategy approaches to accelerate business growth by:
  • investigating routes to market growth and building customers
  • identifying strategies for high growth potential businesses
  • learning about support for market entry and access to markets
  • assess current barriers and opportunities for sustainable growth
