Aims

This module aims to help learners to identify their own personal leadership development needs by self-review and an assessment of their business scale-up context. Central to scaling a business is the need for leaders to develop their mind-set for growth and the responsibility that comes with growth in the context of a changing business environment. This module allows the student to review and reflect on their leadership and importantly then considers the way leaders engage and equip those around them to scale the business.

Learning Outcomes

Assess and reflect upon their leadership approach and style for scaling-up a business and their impact on others

Analyse Leadership approaches and mind set to realise business scale-up potential
3.
Use a range of self awareness tools to critically reflect on current personal leadership practice and identify areas for self-development to enhance leadership for scale-up

Module Overview:

Additional Information:
This module will cover the following KSBs:

K6 Ethics and values-based leadership theories and principles.
S14 Create an inclusive culture, encouraging diversity and difference and promoting well-being.
S17 Lead and influence people, building constructive working relationships across teams, using matrix management where required.
