3. To provide students with an awareness of the challenges posed to the integrity of the state and international law’s response to these

Critically assess key concepts of international law pertaining to the state and peoples

Critically discuss the legal and political controversies inherent in such concepts

Critically assess the legal and political challenges posed by the phenomena of secession and/or statelessness
4.
Make use for a range of both primary and secondary sources to investigate international law’s regulation of statehood and/or statelessness
