Aims

1. For students to gain an understanding of the range of documentary genres
2. To understand the legal and ethical considerations involved in documentary making
3. Critically reflect upon the pre-production process in relation to published work and their own documentary research and development

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
Studying documentaries of varying genres; including the context of relevant media law; the ethics of filmmaking and an understanding of the pre-production process applied to their own production research.
Module Overview:
