Aims

This module aims to create reflective researchers through use of an electronic portfolio - a structured document designed to collate in a single place reflective accounts on learning or skills developed across the MRes programme.

Learning Outcomes

1.
Develop reflective skills through maintenance of an electronic portfolio that collates learning from across the MRes programme.
2.
Develop innovation, communication and interview skills through participation in scheduled learning activities.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
The specific module content includes participation in the following: 

Writing reflective accounts on specific taught elements of the programme, science made simple training, careers day event, team progress meetings, lectures on innovation in science and clinical translational technologies, innovation challenge day and poster presentations. 
Module Overview:
You will develop as a reflective researcher through developing your electronic portfolio. This is a structured document where you will collate reflective accounts on learning or skills developed across the MRes programme in a single place.
Additional Information:
Reflective practice is an increasingly important skill relevant to all workplaces. Through maintenance of an e-portfolio students will collate reflective accounts on their learning and skills developed across the MRes programme.
