Module Content

Outline Syllabus:Through a series of workshops and short practical sessions students will gain an understanding of different technologies and current software practice including: Filming with cutting-edge technologies, e.g.: drones; 360 degree filming/Virtual Reality Image manipulation using software packages, e.g.: photoshop; After-Effects. Develop skills in the use of advanced technical equipment, e.g.: Steadicam

This optional module enables you to develop technical skills in a range of media equipment and software packages. It aims to:
  • explore the creative potential of specialised production equipment and digital software
  • apply techniques for image and video manipulation and audio production
  • help you understand the application of these skills to practical documentary making
