Aims
To provide students with an ability to relate macroeconomic and microeconomic theory to the design and analysis of public policy. To assess the contribution of economics to a range of contemporary policy debates in both the public and private sectors.
Learning Outcomes

Evaluate and apply macroeconomic analysis to a range of public policy choices that are of contemporary importance.

Critically analyse macroeconomic policy decisions and institutional structures.

Examine the microeconomic decisions related to a range of public policy choices that are of contemporary importance.
