Module Content
Outline Syllabus:Each student will receive individual singing lessons throughout the course of this module. Although the content will be tailored specifically toward each individual student, there will be a clear focus on the consolidation of individual singing style and technique. These lessons provide the opportunity to explore your vocal potential and put together a repertoire of material suitable for professional auditions. Additionally, students will also receive coaching sessions with a répétiteur to support their ability to work with an accompanist.
Acting Through Song is a workshop-style class which builds on the work covered in Level 5. Focusing on the technical skills of acting when (and through) singing, students will focus on repertoire in preparation for professional auditions and industry. This class augments the performance element of both singing assessments.
Additional Information:This module equips students with the singing technique and performance skills when working with contemporary musical theatre repertoire.
Assessment is via live, studio-based presentations.
