Aims
To provide students with the skills necessary to identify and demonstrate awareness of contemporary issues in management of business operations.
Learning Outcomes

Discuss critically the field of operational management.

Demonstrate effectively the ability to appraise the processes and concepts in operational management.

Effectively apply secondary and primary data, and comprehensively compare managerial issues in planning, organizing, leading and controlling throughout different organizations.

Additional Information:Formal lectures will be supported by student group works which will be supervised by lecturers. Small group work projects will be carried out and presented to the course. Breakout rooms and individual support by the lecturing team help to create solutions to the case studies related to operational management. One of the case studies will be designed as evolving case during the actual period of lecture series. Students then have to deal with a changing environment which requires operational decisions alongside of the module.
