Aims
Careful planning and project control are essential to the success of any project. This module provides students will an opportunity through applied practice to plan, schedule, monitor and control a case study project using core techniques and the latest software packages.
Learning Outcomes

Apply a problem-solving approach to project planning adhering to a professional standards.

Utilise an established software package and an established project management methodology to provide project management information.
3.
Determine which tools and techniques to utilise for project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and estimating.

Critically appraise key project evaluation, monitoring and control techniques and their importance in bringing projects to successful completion.
