Aims
The aim of this module is to provide the student with the opportunity to consolidate and present the aggregated skill set acquired during the programme through the release of five original pieces of music written and produced by the student specifically for this module. This collection of pieces will be assembled and released as either an EP or as part of an LP.
Learning Outcomes

Compose and produce, to a professional level, a body of unified, well-crafted and technically advanced musical works.

Operate at all times within industry standard working processes and practices.
3.
Critically evaluate the process and the musical works presented.
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:This is a student centred module.
The module will be delivered Year-long.
Each student will be supported and guided in their creation and refinement of a complete and well produced music portfolio. More specifically, students will be supported by means of individual tutorials in extending and honing their:
· Skills as a writer/composer of original music
· Skills as a producer and sound engineer
· Professional and creative working practices in the music studio.
Additional Information:The module is the culmination of the student’s studies allowing them to support and develop their own artist(s) or brands. Assessment is via a portfolio of work.
