Aims
To refine students' knowledge and understanding of key scientific concepts, scientific enquiry skills and pedagogy associated with teaching the subject across the primary age range.
To develop skills of critical analysis of pedagogical issues relating to primary science.

Evaluate the professional knowledge and understanding, pedagogy and subject content, required for effective science teaching across the primary age and ability range.

Critically analyse the role of education outside the classroom in teaching and learning primary science across the primary age and ability range.
