Aims
The module aims to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the profession and practice of clinical psychology by:
- Developing critical understanding of the discipline and application of clinical psychology.
- Exploring essential competencies associated with being a psychological practitioner.
- Critically evaluating different psychological approaches to supporting individuals experiencing psychological difficulties.
- Cultivating awareness and appreciation of lived experience, culture, and context in applying psychological theory and intervention.
