Aims
Gender, Sexuality and the Law is designed to enable students to critically engage with the law and policy issues relating to issues of gender and sexuality. It aims to provide students with an understanding and critical awareness of feminist jurisprudence and gender theory. Through engagement with the theoretical perspectives, the module aims to enable students to critically evaluate current legal regulation relating to issues of gender and sexuality.
Learning Outcomes

Evaluate the main theoretical perspectives in relation to issues of gender and/or sexuality.

Evaluate certain areas of the law relating to issues of gender and/or sexuality.

Synthesize information concisely in a visual format.
