Policy planning, cultural policy and its creation, political ideology, national identity, corruption and bribery, human rights and animal rights and the impact of these issues in the context of international events management.

This module place the events industry within a wider political setting. Political ideologies will frame students' understanding of how events can be subject to varying socio-economic opportunities and constraints. Exploring interrelationships between events and wider policy aims allows students to contextualise events within a wider national and international setting.
