Aims

Develop an understanding of the challenges faced by those involved in leading organisations in today’s increasingly complex and dynamic global business environment and understand the theory and practice of organisational change so that they can undertake and manage it effectively. 

Learning Outcomes

Critically analyse the relevance of leadership through the lens of organisational change and the knowledge, skills and behaviours required.

Critically evaluate a range of different learning and development initiatives in developing leaders and managers

Students will develop an understanding of the challenges faced by those involved in leading organisations in todays increasingly complex and dynamic global business environment and understand the theory and practice of organisational change so that they can undertake and manage it effectively.
Additional Information:
This module enables students to develop an understanding of the challenges faced by those involved in leading change within organisations in today's increasingly complex and dynamic global business environment. They will be introduced to models, concepts and theories. Techniques for critically analysing leadership and change within organisations and the many facets of interrelations will be introduced and developed over the course of the module.
