Aims
To analyse, explain and illustrate the ways in which tortious obligations are created and compensated.

This module will allow you to understand the basic concepts, values, principles and rules of tort. You will evaluate principles of the law of tort and should be able to apply legal knowledge to complex problem and present informed conclusions. After completing this module, you should be able to present an argument in a way that is comprehensible to others and which addresses their particular concerns or questions. You should be able to apply a critical analysis of an area of tort where required.
