Outline Syllabus:
Defining events, planning models and their uses, hazard identification, risk
assessment tools and techniques, site planning and customer/client needs
identification, introduction to legislation, supplier identification, project management
tools and techniques including financial management

Module Overview:
The module will be taught through a combination of lectures and seminars using case studies of real life event examples and expert guest speakers. Students will participate in small group task-orientated activities based around real world event scenarios.
