Strategies for stakeholder engagement.
Philosophy of procurement, public and private clients.
Risks inherent in the various procurement, contract and tendering options and their associated available contracts.
Procurement decision-making.
EU Procurement Directives and European/International approaches.
Definitions and applications of sustainability; sustainable construction, social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainable construction/sustainable procurement; Integration of sustainable construction within procurement strategies; enablers and barriers of sustainable construction procurement.
Dispute management and resolution in construction and engineering works.
