Aims

1. Gain a discerning knowledge and critical understanding of the development of multi-tier applications;
2. Explore and experience the tools, techniques, software and hardware commonly used to develop applications;
3. Explore different logic approaches in delivering UI-UX applications and how they determine the implementation of applications;
4. Conduct research on the issues and subjects of application production; 
5. Explore, differentiate and practice various brainstorming and idea generation techniques.

Learning Outcomes

1.
Research and analyse information that informs the UI-UX requirement.
2.
Define and differentiate between a range of commonly used tools, techniques and processes employed in UI-UX design to produce relevant applications.
3.
Interrogate a UI-UX requirement and set out a process to design and deliver a meaningful application.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
Reflecting on your previous modules focussed on digital technologies you will explore how these are integrated into the design and implementation of UI-UX applications and how they are delivered successfully to target audiences.
You will chart how UI-UX design add value to the customer journey from creating awareness, purchasing or engaging with goods and services through to after sales support and future delivery of the experience.
This module introduces the architecture and design principles used in the construction of applications for web and mobile Platforms.
Additional Information:
You will build on the learning experience of the previous module in examining the architecture and design principles employed in constructing UI-UX applications for web and mobile platforms in this module.
