Aims
1. Identify, observe, explore and gain an appreciation of the works of peers and experts within the topic;
2. Explore the brand development and production pipeline;
3. Develop addition professional skills in blending multiple software;
4. Study and observe references and analyse them for development of designs;
5. Gain a critical understanding of brand management and placement;
6. Become proficient with the relevant hardware and software used in the production of brands;
7. Create a branding artefact together with associated visual material.

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:
You will gain a critical understanding of the importance of branding both in terms of visual communication of a message but also as a strategic marketing tool and as part of the overall marketing mix.
You will study the various aspects of creating a brand and the variety of media that is available to enhance a brand.
In lectures you will learn about the various types of branding related to corporate structures, how they are promoted, endorsed and transformed.
In creative exercises you will create brands for products or services from a set brief and develop implementation strategies.
