Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
In order to tell a story visually you will need to explore visual language by which the narrative is communicated which is at the core of the designer's skills. The module focus on the same.
You will conduct initial research in response to a specific specialist brief, ideate on the basis of that research, scope and analyse ideas and having identified a solution you will explore and develop the visual means by which you can retell, relate and convey the story/message visually. Following this you will be required to implement your visual narrative using industry common techniques and processes as common within your chosen specialism.
During the module you will become familiar with the stages of completing a project and maintaining alignment to the visual narrative throughout.
Additional Information:
This module is aimed at developing your capacity to visualise a concept/story/message in response to a chosen or directed brief within the context of your chosen specialism and based on your specialist knowledge and skills as acquired in previous modules.
