Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
In this module students will write a 5000 words research paper worth 90% on one of the option modules taken in either Semester 1 or Semester 2. Students will be supervised according to subject specialism. This ensures that students have both a basic knowledge base and expertise as a foundation for their long essay. The 5000 words essay must be on a different period and/or topic to the written assignment submitted in option modules. The essay will be allocated to supervisors according to Specialism. Students will also deliver a presentation prior to the final submission in which they have to outline and justify their findings. Both assessments serve as a crucial stepping-stone to the final-year dissertation.
